Boiling Springs Touchdown Club Football Scholarship Award

Beginning in 2002 and each year since, the Boiling Springs Touchdown Club has awarded a $500 scholarship to a Boiling Springs senior football player planning to continue their education at a college, university or place of higher education.

This award takes into account the student's background in the sport of football, scholastic achievement, personal interests, achievements, extra-curricular activities, recommendations, and future plans and goals.  

Through an application process each candidate's information is reviewed, graded and an award is granted based on a total points system.

The 2005 recipient, Joel Bliss, plans on attending Albright College (Reading, PA) majoring in Computer Graphic Design and is also planning on competing for the quarterback position on the football team.  Good luck Joel !
