Roland Miller
Our 2011
scholarship winner is Roland Miller
Roland is attending Mansfield University in the fall and will play football for the Mountaineers. He has played football for 12 years. He believes that football has given him confidence, strength, leadership and endurance to use in life.
At Mansfield, Roland will major in Forensic Science. He received an Academic Letters in 9th, 10th and 12th grade.
Roland was also selected as the All Conference Wrestler his junior and senior year and was the Sectional Champion in wrestling his senior year. Roland played baseball for Boiling Springs in 9th, 10th, and 12th grade.
Each year, the Boing Springs Touchdown Club awards a $500 scholarship to the graduating Senior player that best exemplifies the ideals of Bubbler football.
